Western Vaquero Jackets
A vaquero was an expertly skilled cattle driver and horseman, known at first glance by his decadent attire. With its distinct cut and embroidered flair, the Vaquero jacket is what set this cowboy apart from just any cattle herder out on the southwestern range. The jacket was shorter so as not to interfere with his masterful roping proficiency and the arduous cattle work while traversing the open prairies.
The south-of-the-border influence is evident in the jacket's styling, which features decorative buttons and scrolling braided trim on the back, sleeves and edges. Our vaquero jackets are crafted from 100% cotton with a complete cotton lining, warmer climates are a breeze in these lightweight jackets.
We are excited to offer a selection of historically inspired vaquero jackets, and hope you will contact us if you have any additional questions. Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
